마케팅 관리란?

경영의 정의를 경제주체가 그들의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 인적・물적 자원을 투입하고 각 부서별로 계획・조직・조정・통제하는 활동을 거쳐서 제품을 생산해내는 연속적인 과정이라고 정의하였다. 이 정의에 입각하여, 마케팅 관리는 마케팅 부서의 목적 달성을 위해 마케팅 활동과 관련된 여러 가지 요소를 투입하고 4P(marketing mix)라는 수단을 가지고 P・O・L・C(계획・조직・조정・통제)해가는 연속적인 과정이라고 정의할 수 있다.
